The Subway

In Seoul, the subway is the easiest and fastest way to get around. Reminds me of the London subway, however, if I'm able to remember the name of ONE station I'll be very proud of myself.

Point in case:
Eleven different lines to choose from, I'll probably pick my favorite color and see where I end up. Although I would like to go to Bukchon and look at the Hanok village - which is a village of traditional korean -style houses.

  1. It looks very confusing on the map, but the subway is awesome in Seoul. It took me a minute to get comfortable with it, but after being there for two weeks, I felt like I could go anywhere and do anything. The subway is so extensive, affordable, and will take you pretty much anywhere you want to go! ;)

  2. I agree. The subway was so mindboggling when I returned to Korea for the first time. The only place I'd ever lived that had a subway system before was in Shanghai where it was just a few lines. It took me awhile to get used to it--but now I love it!
